10 recipes warming drinks

Ginger tea

In hot syrup (water + vodka, rum, brandy + sugar) pour the strained tea and a glass of slightly warmed alcohol, stir.

Hot chocolate with rum and cinnamon

Perhaps the most popular winter drink is hot chocolate.

Method of preparation: R useablity classic chocolate is very easy: mix it with 25 ml of rum, and garnish the drink with grated chocolate and whipped cream.

Sbiten

Sbiten is a broth of spices, flavoured with sugar, syrup or honey – Russian traditional winter drink. It is prepared easily and quickly, does not contain alcohol and will suit both adults and children.

Preparation method: add to a glass of water 150 g of honey and boil for 2-3 minutes, removing the foam. Then dissolve in a glass of hot water 100 g of sugar and pour in the honey mixture. Cook on low heat until smooth. In a container with two liters of water is added 2 g. of ground cinnamon, 2 tsp ground ginger, a few leaves of dried mint, 5 peas of black pepper, 5 stars cloves and bring the mixture to a boil, then pass. Combine the honey-sugar syrup and aromatic broth, mix well and cool.

Masala tea

Masala tea is good not only as a preventive of disease, but also as active healing potion. Milk, tea and spices – what could be easier? The main thing is not to regret cardamom and star anise, because in masala tea they play leading roles.

The method of preparation . using a blender or manually grind the cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice and star anise and add to the capacity for boiling with milk. Method of preparation: you will need 20 ml strawberry puree (can be made from frozen berries) or jam, 20 ml peppermint syrup (sold in big supermarkets), 10 g mint leaves, 2 lime slices, 150 ml of water and a couple of strawberries (can be frozen) for decoration. Mint and lime slices thoroughly mash together with mint syrup, add to the mix the strawberry puree, water and heat, without boiling. Drink strain through cheesecloth or a strainer, pour into a glass and garnish with berries or a sprig of mint.

“Liquid strudel”
